World Music Unleashed

I have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Grammy winning Kora player Mamadou Diabaté, Tabla Maestro Gourisankar Karmakar and Sitarist Indrajit Banerjee. Despite having little time to rehearse we were able to blend our respective styles and create some beautiful pieces to play as a group. I really enjoyed working with this ensemble to combine traditional Indian music with the melodious sound of the African Kora. I thank The School of Indian Percussion and Music (SIPM) for this great opportunity.
